FourNet chooses Union Street billing for ‘mission critical’ services



Union Street Technologies has been selected by FourNet to provide its aBILLityâ„¢ billing software and associated services. Established in 2005, FourNet is an award-winning cloud and managed service provider with an annual turnover of over £30m. Its customers include many organisations in the blue light sector, with FourNet providing ‘mission critical’ services to fire, police and ambulance services across the UK.

FourNet selected Union Street Technologies’ aBILLity billing platform following an extensive review of the company’s billing and provisioning operations. During the review, FourNet identified several areas where aBILLity could be optimised for managing communications for emergency services including how the system could better manage escalations for clients in the blue light sector. In addition, FourNet has recommended enhancements to aBILLity’s reporting features and to Union Street’s end-user facing customer portal, WebaBILLity PRO.

Based on the outstanding billing solution achieved through cooperation with Union Street Technologies, FourNet has entered two categories of the prestigious National Billing People Awards: ‘Commitment to Customer Service’ and ‘Billing Revenue Growth Champion’.

FourNet’s Head of Finance, Vanessa Worsley, a recent nominee at the FDs’ Excellence Awards, oversaw the review alongside Billing Manager Amir Hussain.
