Positively impacting people’s lives by improving the services we all depend on

FourNet transforms the customer and citizen services people rely on every day. What makes that worth doing isn’t that things stop going wrong — it’s what becomes possible when they go right.

How we operate

  • The Services We Deliver

We transform customer and citizen journeys, modernise the networks and infrastructure behind them, secure them, and bring AI in safely — then run and keep improving them.

  • The Sectors We Serve

Across 19 sectors — the regulated and high-volume environments where these services carry real consequences for the people they’re for.

  • The Outcomes We Guarantee

We diagnose before we prescribe, then stake our fee against the outcomes we underwrite — lower cost to serve, better experience, room to grow, and security and assurance that keeps pace. 100% delivered to date.

In commercial and regulated industries

In the public sector:

Where we came from

FourNet began in Manchester in 2005 as 4net Technologies, founded by four people with more than 75 years of collective experience and a shared view: that the bigger players weren't delivering communications technology with the care or capability customers needed.

Co-founder Richard Pennington still leads the company as CEO, and Manchester is still home. Four businesses have joined us along the way — Computertel, C>Ways, Nowcomm and 01T — and Palatine Private Equity took a majority stake in 2021. What started as a contact-centre and communications specialist is now a transformation partner for some of the country’s most critical services — but the founding standard, deliver something you’d stake your name on, hasn’t changed.

Leadership

FourNet is run by ten Executive Directors, accountable to a board with independent governance. Most have operated in the sectors and disciplines they now lead.

What we’re here to do

To improve how organisations work; combining people, data and technology to deliver better performance, lower cost and outcomes that last.

We measure ourselves on outcomes, not activity. On what customers experience, not what we ship. That principle shapes how we work. We diagnose before we prescribe. We stake our fee against the outcomes we commercially guarantee. And we recommend what’s right for the customer — the independence that comes with choosing the right technology rather than the one we sell.

A Responsible Business

We measure ourselves on more than commercial outcomes. We do these things because they’re the right things to do — not because they earn us a badge. We’re committed to Net Zero, with Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions measured since 2021 and a Carbon Reduction Plan aligned to PPN 06/21. We’re a Living Wage Employer, a Disability Confident Employer and Carbon Literate Organisation accredited, and we hold the Armed Forces Covenant. Our EcoVadis rating places us among the top performers assessed in our sector. Beyond the certifications, we invest in the communities our colleagues live in — through volunteering, sponsorship and direct giving.

Where next

The next few years will be the most interesting in our market for a very long time. AI is reshaping how organisations work, expectations keep rising, and the organisations we work with are navigating all of it at once. We’re building FourNet to be the partner they need.
