As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and organised Project Coordinator to join our team in Trafford Park, Manchester.

The Network Services Project Coordinator is responsible for the placement of network service orders, the ongoing management of these orders, bringing the orders into service and providing billing information to the financial teams.  These services include (but are not limited to),

  • SIP
  • WLR3 (DEL, Broadband, FTTC, FTTP etc)
  • MPLS
  • SDWAN
  • Dark Fibre
  • Number Porting
  • NGN Configuration
  • SIP Call Management Flow design and Implementation

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as technical engineers, sales, finance, and commercial teams, to ensure we meet our commitments on project timelines, in relation to all matters related to network services provisioning. This will mean meeting deadlines within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role.

Scope of responsibilities

  1. Work with third party suppliers and customers to co-ordinate number porting.
  2. Work with third party suppliers and customers to facilitate the integration of any new direct dial or non-geographic numbers into use.
  3. Aid in the coordination and management of SIP provisioning.
  4. Aid the wider project co-ordination team in completing project tasks, whether this be provisioning (kit orders), circuit delivery, circuit configuration, or aligning resources to complete wider project tasks.
  5. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  6. Coordinate project activities, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed of project progress.

  8. Monitor and track project timelines, milestones, and budget to identify and resolve any potential issues.
  9. Assist in resource allocation, scheduling, and procurement of project materials (orders for hardware etc.).
  10. Facilitate effective communication between project team members, clients, and vendors.
  11. Conduct regular project meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  12. Support project risk management activities and proactively identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  13. Ensure project compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  14. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share best practices within the project management team.
  15. To provide a credible escalation point for customers, team members and to work alongside other managers and seniors in support of escalations.
  16. There will also be a need to aid in the support of work out of hours.

Person Specification

  • Experience within the telecoms industry, ideally WLR3, SIP and Data provisioning
  • Ordering SIP and Managing Number ports
  • Experience within the following project methodologies/ qualifications – PRINCE, APM, Agile, Waterfall, ITIL
  • Experience working with 3rd parties and external stakeholders
  • Project management experience or task co-ordination experience
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and IT software principles (LAN, WAN, CCaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Licensing, Network connectivity)
  • Experience with provisioning and purchase orders
  • Evidence of strong customer focus and passion for delivering service excellence
