The main purpose of the role is to Provide direction and technical expertise in the Microsoft UC field to internal and external stakeholders

Scope of responsibilities

  1. Provide consultancy and on-going sales support and training to the FourNet sales team on the FourNet Microsoft UC proposition.
  2. Gather, translate and clarify customer business requirements and define high level technical solution designs.
  3. Produce High Level Design documents.
  4. Produce and deliver customer presentations around the Microsoft Teams proposition.
  5. Design and deliver technical demonstrations.
  6. Manage the technical aspects for 3rd party integration partners
  7. Proactively drive own personal learning to keep abreast of developments in industry technology and standards. With a particular focus on Microsoft applications and licensing
  8. Provide training and support to the wider Pre-Sales Team on Microsoft Teams
  9. Help drive forward FourNet’s internal Microsoft adoption and increase functionality of demo capabilities
  10. Manage FourNet’s Microsoft tenant (and provide administration training to the wider teams)

 

Technical Profile

Essential

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft UC applications
  • A proven track record of delivering UC projects and solutions using Microsoft Stack of products
  • Broad knowledge of VoIP concepts (SIP, SBCs, codecs)
  • Understand networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wireless, QoS, SD-WAN, FQDN)
  • Able to work within Public Cloud, primarily MS Azure
  • Understand security concepts pertaining to Microsoft, user devices and cloud (certificates, A records etc)

Desirable / “Nice to have”

  • Public Cloud skills around AWS and Google
  • Understand private cloud infrastructure (VMware, SAN, backups, arching etc)
  • Experience in telephony (legacy PBX, call recording, contact centre, PCT compliance etc)
