FourNet is one of the fastest growing technology businesses in the UK; listed in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 and the FT1000 Fast Track, we are recognised as the fastest organically growing business within our sector by Megabuyte.

At this exciting time of growth for our business, we’re recruiting for a First Line Support Specialist (FLSS) to join us.

Why FourNet…

  • We offer great flexibility and operate a hybrid working model. This role is initially office based but over-time will move to hybrid or fully remote.
  • Initially, you’ll be working Monday to Friday in this position, but once you have received all your training we anticipate you will move to a shift pattern.
  • We genuinely care about our people and will do our best to accommodate preferences when putting a shift patten in place.
  • We offer benefits like enhanced maternity pay and pension contributions.
  • We have a real focus on employee wellbeing and support our people with access to internal mental health first aiders and external employee assistance programmes.
  • We offer 25 days holiday,  plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
  • There’s a great social side to life at FourNet, with lots of social events, volunteering opportunities and wellbeing events to get involved with.
  • We’ve grown a lot over the years, yet still maintain a friendly, supportive culture with people who genuinely care about each other and the FourNet community.
  • And you can take advantage of our electric vehicle scheme, cycle to work scheme, tech scheme and employee health plans.

What are we looking for?

For this FLSS role, we are looking for people who are…

  • self-motivated,
  • dynamic,
  • customer focused
  • keen to develop their careers in the IT and Communication sectors.

Ideally, you’ll have previous experience of working in a similar role. We will offer comprehensive training support through qualifications and further training as you develop your career at FourNet. As long as you have a desire to achieve, a strong work ethic and a passion for technology, then we will support you to fulfill your ambitions.

What does an FLSS at FourNet do?

A FLSS will deal with issues when they come in and resolve the problems quickly. The FLSS will have access to a "live" team of engineers who they can work with to resolve the issue. The FLSS will be expected to manage the issue from inception to completion and will play a role in creating Root Cause Analysis and Reason for Outage documentation.

The FLSS will also manage communication between the customer, the engineers and any other third parties that are involved in the investigation.

The FLSS will also carry out important system changes, updates, patches and other fixes as required during their shifts.

We also expect all FourNet team members to display our core traits and behaviours, namely…

  • Focus on customers - committed to providing the best service to our customers in all that we do.
  • Working Together - Collaborating co-operatively with colleagues, customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Can Do Attitude - Takes personal responsibility for getting things done.
  • Growth - Proactively seeks ways to improve and grow the business.
