As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and organised Date Collection Specialist to join our team in Trafford Park, Manchester.

The Data Collection Specialist will work with our customers to understand and document their requirements. They will be responsible for producing a Business Requirements Document (BRD) which will be signed off by the customer and form the foundation for the engineering build of the procured solution.

The Data Collection Specialist will work with the customer to understand their needs and have the ability to translate that into a system design which will function in line with these requirements. The Data Collection Specialist will assist the implementation engineer to ensure that the functionality is delivered correctly. They will also be involved in User Acceptance Testing and the "Bring Into Service" phase of the project.

Scope of responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in relation to meeting customer requirements for contact centre cloud solutions.
  2. Aid in the completion of business requirements gathering ("as is" versus "to be").
  3. Attend on-site to gather customer requirements.
  4. Aid in the delivery of process flow diagrams
  5. Participate in user training workshops, and in-time lead workshops.
  6. Developing templates for gathering business requirements
  7. Coordinate project activities, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed of project progress.
  8. Ensure project compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  9. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share best practices with regards to requirements gathering with the wider PMO.
  10. Aid in the go-live of projects, with the potential for on site attendance, early life support, or floor walking on the day of system go-live.

Person Specification

  • Strong Customer Service, Organisational and Strategic Planning Skills
  • Experience or knowledge of working within the following project methodologies/ qualifications – PRINCE, APM, Agile, Waterfall, ITIL
  • Experience working with 3rd parties and external stakeholders.
  • Business Analysis experience or task co-ordination experience
  • Ability to extract data and understand complex data formats
  • Ability to draw conclusions from patterns of data
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and IT software principles (LAN, WAN, CCaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Licensing, Network connectivity,)
  • Experience with gathering technical and non-technical requirements.
  • Experience in presenting or demonstrating / training groups of both technical and non-technical users.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • Evidence of strong customer focus and passion for delivering service excellence
