Hertfordshire Constabulary Implement Genetec
The problem
To upgrade and expand Hertfordshire Constabulary’s video surveillance infrastructure and systems to ensure public safety and security.
The Solution
The systems had to be upgraded to Genetec – Omnicast, extra cameras had to be set up and new hardware had to be installed to accommodate the expansion. All the new systems were then connected to Omnicast using a Wide Area Network.
Return on Investment
Working with FourNet, Hertfordshire Constabulary is using Omnicast to currently manage over 70 analogue cameras from different manufacturers throughout the county of Hertfordshire, 10 bordering councils and some major trunk routes.
